Lucy married Wilmond C. Harriss and they made their home in Mobile,
Alabama, where Mr. Harriss amassed a fortune before the Civil War. He
lost a large part of it endorsing notes for his friends. He and Lucy
both died during the Civil War leaving their two children orphan
