Dinah was perhaps the first child born of the second
marriage of (3) John Meador. The name of her mother cannot
be ascertained. She was born about 1696. She is first
mentioned in her father's will in 1721 as Dinah Trible; her
husband was George Trible of Essex County, son of Peter
Trible . In her father's will she was given only on
shilling.
here were several children of this marriage, said to
include George, Joseph, Dinah and Rev. Andrew Trible
(Tribble). The authors have not researched this family.
George and Dinah followed others of the family to Caroline
County, where they appear together as witnesses to the will
of Abraham Brown in 1735 . Dinah died there between 1741
and 1744, as on the latter date George Trible was married to
Ann (last name unreadable). Fearful that George would
embezzle the estate of Ann's late husband, two men
(evidently relatives of Ann) demanded security of George
Trible .
he Rev. Andrew Trible (Tribble) was born in Caroline
County, Virginia in 1741, and married Sally Ann Burris. An
"Old Ironsides" Baptist minister, he was a Chaplain in the
Virginia Line during the Revolution. He died in 1822 in
Clark County, Kentucky. His descendants are well documented
by the Kentucky Historical Society . It is outside the
province of this book to detail these descendan
