After Eleazer and Mary were married and moved to the farm south of
Emerson, Mary taught the Keystone school. She did beautiful tatting,
tatting a large American flag.
er ancestors, arriving on the Mayflower, were prominent in political
life during the American Revolution. Mary, a seventh generation Otis
in America, died march 21, 1930 and is buried at Emerson, io
