now selling house, land, orchard etc, pair of oxen, cart, plough goods
etc. To sons John, Giles, James, William, George and Jeremiah, each 1s
and to my four daughters, 1 s each. He calls Richard his eldest son,
but this does not agree with the birth as recorded.
It is this compiler's opinion that
Richard was born in England about 1615, and emigrated with his father
on the ship "Lyon" in 1630. Captain William Peirse Master ship "Lyon"
who was his brother. The ship "Lyon" made three trips to America
